Step 1: The Initial Conversation & Application
Your journey begins with a simple conversation.Reach out to us to discuss your business and goals. We will then send you a formal application to complete. This helps us understand your facility and needs, allowing us to provide you with a transparent service agreement and fee quote.
Step 2: Develop Your Halal Assurance Plan
We believe in setting you up for success.Our team will work directly with you to develop a customized Halal Assurance Plan for your facility. This vital document will outline everything from the slaughter procedure and animal welfare standards to product segregation and equipment sanitation, ensuring you meet all requirements.
Step 3: The On-Site Facility Audit
A trained and knowledgeable auditor from Hijrah Ranch will visit your facility in Texas or Louisiana.This is a collaborative review, not an inspection. We will:
· Observe the slaughter process to ensure it meets Islamic requirements.
· Verify the implementation of your Halal Assurance Plan.
· Check for proper segregation and sanitation to prevent cross-contamination.
· Review your record-keeping practices.
Step 4: Certification Granting
Upon successful completion of the audit,we will issue your official Hijrah Ranch Halal Certification. You will receive a certification package and guidelines for using our trusted logo on your products, in your store, and in your marketing materials.
Step 5: Ongoing Monitoring & Annual Renewal
Halal is an ongoing commitment.To maintain the integrity of your certification, we conduct periodic unannounced audits. Your certification is valid for one year and comes with our continuous support to ensure you remain compliant.
